I first met Jane at Helen Warrington's School of Dance. Hannah and and my daughter, Sophie were just three years old. Jane and I would sit in the changing room chatting while waiting for our girls to do the dance class. As the year went on Sophie and Hannah became friends as did Jane and I. During the years when the girls were in their respective primary schools Jane and I would meet up and have coffee while the girls would play together. Happy days!


Over the years Jane and I continued our friendship meeting up for coffee and cakes and catching up with our news, good and not so good. She was a brilliant listener and always knew the right thing to say at difficult times. I can only hope that I was as good a friend to her as she was to me. I will miss lovely, kind, gentle Jane.
